PRENATAL YOGA INSTRUCTOR

My love of yoga spans more than three decades. As a mom of three sons, I’ve adapted my practice through the various stages of life—including miscarriage, pregnancy, & postpartum, as well as navigating unexpected health challenges along the way. I feel this is the beauty of yoga: your practice meets you exactly where you are.

 

​Inspired to merge my passion for yoga & pregnancy, an 85-hour Prenatal Yoga Teacher Training felt like a natural fit. I aim to lead with authenticity & compassion in all that I do, & I love to share my knowledge & experience of pregnancy, both personally & professionally.

​

I’m committed to making yoga accessible & inclusive. My hope is to be a gentle reminder that yoga is for all bodies—& that it offers a powerful way to reconnect with yourself.

Classes are thoughtfully designed to support the unique needs & experiences of pregnancy through a nurturing blend of gentle yoga postures (asana), breathwork (pranayama), & deep relaxation.

  • Learn to connect with the power of your breath to promote relaxation, reduce stress, & cultivate calm amidst the changes of pregnancy.

  • Breath awareness also plays a vital role in managing pain & staying grounded during your labor & birth.

  • Settle into quiet & stillness to deepen your awareness of your baby’s presence & to nurture your growing connection.

  • Take time to honor & strengthen this unique bond through simple mindfulness practices.​

Body Alignment

  • Explore gentle movements & postures that support the changing needs of your pregnant body.

  • Practice to safely build strength, enhance flexibility, & improve balance, all in preparation for childbirth.

  • Alleviate common pregnancy discomforts.

  • Connect with fellow expectant parents through group discussions & shared experiences.

  • Exchange tips, insights, & support in a non-judgmental & compassionate environment.
